About Us
Plessington Court is a home in the Puddington area of Neston in Cheshire, which can accommodate just under 19 residents. The Home is based in the countryside, though close to a main road network links to towns nearby including Chester. The Home is very close to the border with North Wales and Wirral, 10 minutes either direction.
The home is purpose built with a good reputation locally and further afield. We pride ourselves on the fact we truly provide person centred safe care. We are also proud of the relationships we have with families, loved ones and volunteers.
it has a 'Good' rating from the CQC.
Care can be provided for those with dementia, and associated conditions. We have experience of providing care to people with Parkinsons and Acquired Brain Injury.
Plessington Court also offers the following short stay services;
1. Respite care when a room is available, which can be from 1 week upwards.
2. Day care over any of the 7 days of the week, this can be full and half days. Costs are currently £50 to £80, inclusive of meals and activities.
Communication is key to us. We ensure that:
1. The manager and deputy manager are accessible
2. We have regular reviews
3. Care plans are accessible
4. We have regular relatives meetings
5. We have regular social events
6. We have Newsletters: Residents, Relatives, Infection control
We employ:
1. The management team, which includes the director, manager, deputy manager, and quality lead
2. Access to two Admiral Nurses

5. Senior Health Care Assistants on days and nights

This is a lot of staff for a home which only provides accommodation for 19 people. We over recruit deliberately so we are not reliant on agency workers.
Your will be impressed with the size of our communal spaces consisting of:
1. Two large lounges
2. A smaller lounger
3. Two dining rooms
4. A media room
5. An assisted bath for those who do not like an ensuite shower in their room, or love to be pampered having a soak in the bath.
6. A Veranda
7. A Sensory garden
If safety and security re a worry:
1. The external doors are coded
2. The garden and veranda are enclosed
3. Staff support visitors coming into and leaving the home
4. We have passworded care records
5. We have CCTV external to the home and in communal areas
