About Us
Welcome to Prospect House, a privately owned care home nestled in the heart of Altofts, Normanton. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment, where people we support receive high-quality, person-centred care tailored to their individual needs and preferences.
At Prospect House, we cater to a wide range of care requirements, including autism, specialist behaviour support, sensory impairments, incontinence, and speech impairment. Our compassionate and experienced team are dedicated to ensuring our residents feel safe, comfortable, and truly at home.
We offer a vibrant and inclusive lifestyle for the people we support, with a variety of facilities such as a beautiful garden and a relaxing sensory room, as well as a lounge and quiet areas. Work is also ongoing to improve the environment and amenities that the home offers. Residents enjoy delicious, freshly prepared meals with choice at every mealtime, either in our large dining room or in the privacy of their own rooms. With free on-site parking and a minibus for outings, families can visit easily and residents can remain active within the local community.
All bedrooms are thoughtfully designed, with ensuite bathrooms, TV points, and the freedom to bring cherished personal furniture—and some pets are welcome too.
Prospect House is conveniently located near a range of local amenities, including shops, banks, a doctor's surgery, and transport links. Funding options accepted include self-funding, local authority placements (with or without top-up), and NHS Continuing Healthcare.
If you are considering a caring and friendly home for yourself or a loved one, Prospect House is here to support. Please contact us to arrange a visit or for further information.
