About Us
Barnford House is a specialist Prader-Willi syndrome residential care home located in Oldbury. We provide support for six individuals with Prader-Willi syndrome, alongside additional needs such as learning disabilities and autism.
Our welcoming home contains six bedrooms, each with its own en-suite wet room. Each bedroom is thoughtfully adapted to cater to individual mobility needs, ensuring accessibility and convenience. We benefit from a range of spacious communal areas, including a cosy lounge, a vibrant dining room, and a beautiful garden, encouraging social interaction and a healthy lifestyle.
Our experienced team bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise in managing Prader-Willi syndrome, autism, and other complex needs. We are committed to continuous learning and development to ensure we provide the highest standard of care.
Barnford House is easily accessible to the community, with bus links nearby that connect to Birmingham City Centre and beyond. With plenty of recreational activities in the area, we will encourage the people we support to have an active role in the community – regularly visiting shops, parks, leisure centres and local cinemas with their support team.
