Park Grove Care Home

Park Grove is situated in its own grounds in Burscough village with extensive rear garden for the residents use.
We are approximately 3 miles from Ormskirk and 8 miles from Southport on the main Liverpool/Preston road (A59) and are close to the Liverpool/Leeds canal.
We are within five minutes walk of the village shops, post office and library. There are local railway station services – Manchester, Southport, Preston and Liverpool lines, and there is also a good bus service, which stops outside the home to Liverpool, Preston and Blackpool.
On the outskirts of Burscough we have Rufford Old Hall, Martin Mere, Parbold Hill a local beauty spot and Ormskirk Market.

The C of E, Methodist and Roman Catholic churches are all nearby.
Park Grove was established July 1985 and has been under the ownership of Kevin & Una Banks since March 1997. The home was taken over by Mr Saeed Rehman in July 2025 to present day. The home is registered for 32 residents, having 22 single and 5 sharing rooms on the first floor, which is serviced by a lift. There are an ample number of bathrooms, including easy walk in wet room and a seated bath. All have grab rails or frames to facilitate ease of use, and are large enough for access for wheelchairs and zimmer frames to ensure we meet the needs of each individual and their choices. . Other aids and equipment are assessed and provided by occupational therapist and district nurses
There are two ramps, for the side and rear entrances to allow easy access to the spacious gardens.
A nurse call facility is in every room and can only be turned off at point of call. There are two dining rooms, three lounges with TV’s and a activity room. A telephone is available for residents use.

You are most welcome and encouraged to bring any personal belongings into the home. If you wish to bring in larger items e.g. bed, dressing table or wardrobe, it would be advisable to discuss this with the manager first, but whenever possible everything will be done to accommodate you and personalise your environment. Smaller items such as a special chair, radio, T.V, ornaments, shelves and pictures etc can be brought and if you would like your room décor changed this will be done.

The home is cleaned daily to a high standard with dedicated domestic staff.
