About Us
Welcome to Astor Hall, a privately owned care home based in the heart of the Stoke area of Plymouth. With a ‘Good’ rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC), we are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and homely environment, ensuring comfort and dignity for every resident.
Astor Hall offers specialist care for a wide range of needs, including autism, bariatric care, brain injury, challenging or specialist behaviour support, young-onset dementia, diabetes, Parkinsonism, and many others. Our experienced and compassionate team is dedicated to supporting each individual, whether you are seeking long-term residency, respite, or day care services.
We welcome funding from self-funding individuals, local authorities (with or without top-ups), and NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC).
Our home is designed with comfort and accessibility in mind, featuring a beautiful garden, a sunny terrace, communal lounges, quiet areas, and a welcoming dining room. We offer on-site free parking, wheelchair access throughout, and a lift for all floors. Residents can enjoy a lively activities programme, including bingo and group outings, as well as dedicated wellbeing and podiatry services.
Each room is thoughtfully equipped with wifi, call bells, TV points, meals in-room if required, and accessible facilities including hoisting and wet rooms. Both single and double/twin rooms are available, and residents are encouraged to bring their own furniture to create a truly personal space.
Our convenient location means local amenities such as a bar, convenience store, dentist, doctor’s surgery, and park are all close by.
At Astor Hall, we prioritise care, comfort, and choice at all times, aiming to help residents live life to the fullest. Contact us to arrange a visit or learn more about how we can support you or your loved one.
