Overview
Longton Nursing and Residential Home is a dual registered Care home. The home is equipped with different showering and bathing wet room options to cater for unique and individual needs.
Collaboratively, we work alongside the multi-disciplinary teams of Longton Health Centre to provide excellent primary care for all our residents.
Over 50 single rooms and shared rooms catering for couples. All rooms are en-suite with own lavatory and hand basin facilities. The home is equipped with different showering and bathing wet room options to cater for individual needs

We are in the heart of Longton village with a longstanding excellent reputation. Collaboratively, we work alongside the multi-disciplinary teams of Longton Health Centre to provide excellent primary care for all our residents.
Longton Nursing and Residential Home has been awarded a national Gold Standards Framework (GSF) Quality Hallmark Award in recognition of the way it cares for people at the end of life. GSF provides end of life care training and accreditation for frontline staff in health and social care, to enable a ‘gold standard’ of care for people nearing end of life. Longton Nursing and Residential Home was one of the 117 organisations from across the country receiving the award in Manchester (seventy three care homes, four primary care teams, eleven domiciliary care agencies, thirteen retirement Villages, sixteen hospital wards and the first community nursing team)
