About Us

Robin Specialist Autism Services is a CQC-registered provider delivering personalised domiciliary and outreach support for autistic individuals and people with additional needs, including ADHD, PTSD, learning disabilities, and mental health needs. Our registration reflects the delivery of personal care; however, our approach extends beyond task-based care and focuses on therapeutic, person-centred support that promotes meaningful, long-term outcomes.

We support young people in transition, and adults, including individuals leaving college, those no longer in education, and people awaiting or preparing for discharge from mental health wards. Our work is aligned with community-based support and aims to prevent unnecessary hospital admission, reduce placement breakdown, and enable individuals to live safely and meaningfully within their communities.

We provide flexible, tailored support packages based on individual need. This includes 1:1 support in a person’s own home, education settings, and community or day services. We also provide overnight and waking-night support where required. Our model supports individuals with a range of needs, including complex, high-support, and specialist packages.

Our practice is autism-affirming and grounded in understanding the individual rather than managing behaviour. We consider sensory processing, communication differences, emotional regulation, trauma history, executive functioning, and cognitive strengths to shape support that is responsive, respectful, and effective. We work in partnership with families, multidisciplinary teams, and professionals to create consistent, supportive environments and reduce the likelihood of crisis.

Robin Specialist Autism Services provides specialist, therapeutic support rather than task-based care. Our minimum support period is 5 hours, allowing time to build trust, understand the individual, and deliver meaningful intervention rather than brief task-focused visits. This extended support model enables us to work effectively on emotional regulation, executive functioning, independence, and stability key areas often underlying distress, risk, or placement breakdown.

Our support is guided by Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), trauma-informed practice, and least-restrictive, rights-based care. We follow Restraint Reduction Network (RRN) principles, safeguarding best practice, and proactive risk management. Our work focuses on crisis prevention, reducing hospital admission and readmission, and supporting sustainable community living.
