Prima Care Home
Prima Care Home provides person-centred residential care and support for adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities and associated complex needs.
Our aim is to provide a safe, supportive and homely environment where each person is treated with dignity, respect and as an individual. We work closely with residents, families, commissioners and healthcare professionals to develop personalised care plans that reflect each person's needs, choices, abilities and desired outcomes.
Our experienced staff provide support with personal care, medication, physical and mental health needs, daily living skills, nutrition, appointments and maintaining a safe environment. Where required, individual risk assessments and positive behavioural support strategies are developed to ensure care is delivered safely and consistently.
We place particular importance on independence, community participation and meaningful activity. Residents are encouraged and supported to access local shops, cafés, parks, leisure activities, appointments and other community opportunities according to their individual interests and abilities.
Our approach is to support people to do as much as possible for themselves, while providing the appropriate level of supervision, reassurance and assistance needed to maintain their safety and wellbeing.
Prima Care Home promotes choice, independence, social inclusion and quality of life, providing structured and meaningful support that enables residents to feel safe, valued and involved in decisions about their everyday lives.
