Welcome to The Abbeys, our 56-bedroom shared home community in the heart of Rawmarsh, easily accessed throughout Rotherham by public transport or car. We offer round-the-clock residential, dementia and respite care and we’re here to empower you to thrive and ensure that our community continues to flourish.
We offer meaningful experiences and events to support aspirations and goals during this chapter of your life. Alongside our quality personalised care and supportive independence, we’re here to celebrate what makes you uniquely you. Whether it’s exploring the local area on our regular trips using our on-site minibus, having video calls with loved ones or newfound friends, or simply enjoying spending time enjoying the hobbies and interests that bring you connection and joy, we’re here to offer a truly person-centred, comprehensive wellbeing programme to ensure you feel right at home.
Our social areas are vibrant hubs of shared experiences and include an on-site hair salon and several lounges. Our outside patio and garden is a delightful place to retreat to and offers tree-lined shade for relaxing on sunny days. All areas of the home are designed to promote independence, social engagement and a sense of community.
Our team are the heart of our homes, recruited in line with our values of being positive and light-hearted, authentic, creating relationships and there for each other. They are committed to providing quality care and are supported by a comprehensive training programme to ensure everyone works together in the best interests of all.
