Overview
Nestled in the peaceful surroundings of Saltash, Malvern House offers a warm and welcoming environment where residents can enjoy comfort, companionship, and quality care. Our beautiful Victorian home, thoughtfully enhanced with modern facilities, has been providing exceptional care for over thirty years.
At Malvern House, we believe that moving into care should feel like coming home, not leaving it. Our charming Victorian building, complemented by a tasteful modern extension, creates a perfect blend of character and contemporary comfort. With easy access throughout the building via our passenger lift and stair lift, every corner of our home is designed with your comfort and independence in mind.
We're proud to be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and provide nursing and residential care for up to 22 residents in our close-knit community. Whether you're looking for long-term care, respite services, short-term stays, or day care, we welcome you with open arms. Our experienced team also provides specialized support for those living with dementia, ensuring everyone receives the personalized care they deserve.
Location matters, and we're perfectly positioned in tranquil Saltash where community life thrives. Just a pleasant stroll from our front door, you'll find local shops, welcoming churches, convenient transport links including the railway station, and essential services like the Post Office and banks. This means family visits are easy, and you can maintain those important connections to the wider community.
Your health and wellbeing are our priority. We work closely with two local GP practices, and both our nearby community hospital and Plymouth's Derriford Hospital provide excellent healthcare support when needed. This gives both residents and their families complete confidence in our care arrangements.
At Malvern House, we understand that a fulfilling life includes friendship, activities, and social connections. Our intimate size allows us to know each resident personally, creating genuine relationships and a true sense of belonging. We encourage a vibrant social atmosphere where residents can enjoy each other's company, participate in activities, and feel part of our extended family.
