About Us
Montgomery House is a residential and nursing home in the area of Shrewsbury, which can accommodate 90 residents - it has a 'Good' rating from the CQC. Care can be provided for those with dementia and learning disabilities. Montgomery House also offers the following short stay services; respite care.
Montgomery House offers high quality finishes to individual rooms complement social spaces and quiet areas, including a pleasant orangery and private gardens to enjoy. The focus at Montgomery House is living your life your way, with our friendly team providing support where it is required. Should a residents' needs change and complex nursing care becomes a requirement, it will be available on the same site, removing the need to leave the familiar surroundings and friendly faces.
The home provides specialised nursing care for people assessed as meeting the nursing criteria often with a diagnosis of dementia, or those requiring Palliative Care.
Everyone who lives at Montgomery House is at the centre of developing their own care plan, with our contribution to your daily life tailored to your own needs and aspirations.
The home has established strong links to the local community and has facilitated some amazing intergenerational visits/ projects to the delight of the residents. There is an opportunity to engage in a wide variety of activities both in the home and accessing community resources. Montgomery House has benefitted from a legacy gift enabling the home to invest in a small minibus which is used regularly to the benefit of the residents.
