About Crossroads Care Slough
For over 30 years, Crossroads Care Slough has been supporting unpaid carers, children, adults and older people across Slough and the surrounding areas. As a local charity, we understand that good care is about far more than helping with day-to-day tasks – it is about helping people live well, remain independent and continue doing the things that matter most to them.
We are proud to be regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and rated **Good**, delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred care in people's own homes. Whether someone needs a little extra support each week or more complex care, we work alongside individuals and their families to provide a service that is tailored to their needs, wishes and routines.
Alongside our home care services, we are passionate about reducing loneliness and social isolation within our community. Throughout the year we provide a range of activities and support for people of all ages and backgrounds, including our much-loved monthly community lunch with live entertainment, social groups, wellbeing activities, support for unpaid carers, opportunities for volunteering, and community events that bring people together.
Our experienced team supports people living with a wide range of physical disabilities, sensory impairments, learning disabilities, autism, dementia and other long-term health conditions. We believe every person deserves to be treated with kindness, dignity and respect, and we are committed to helping people remain as independent as possible while giving families the reassurance that their loved ones are in safe hands.
As a charity rooted in the local community, every referral helps us continue our wider work supporting carers and vulnerable people across Slough. We believe care should never be just about completing tasks; it should be about building trusted relationships, listening to what matters, and making a genuine difference to people's lives.
If you would like to find out more about our services or discuss how we may be able to help, we would be delighted to hear from you.
