About Us

Rayner House is a purpose-built home in the area of Solihull, close to the NEC and motorway links, which can accommodate just under 45 residents over the age of 65 and including early onset dementia care - it has a 'Good' rating from the CQC. Rayner House also offers the following short stay services; respite care (depending on availability). Rayner House also has a Day Centre attached to the home (Shepherdson Court), where our residents are more than welcome to attend and join in the group sessions e.g., chair exercises, quizzes, art and sit back to listen to our entertainers.

You can enjoy Rayner House's garden or spend time in one of the lounges or dining rooms. This home offers its residents indoor activities, daily newspapers (extra cost) and a hair salon. There is a lift to the first floor, ground floor rooms and wheelchair access in addition to a post service.

All rooms have their own bathrooms varying from wet room, bathroom to some with just toilet and sink. There are communal bathrooms around the home also. Rayner House supplies furniture, bedding, all meals and various snacks but residents can feel even more at home here if they wish to bring their own furniture.

Rayner House will cater for special diets and works closely with district nurses including a weekly visiting doctor.

We aim to provide a homely, safe and welcoming atmosphere for our residents, families and visitors. We achieve this by listening to our residents and staff and including training for all our employees.

Rayner House is a non for profit organisation with a board of trustees.

Rayner House has nearby key medical facilities including a hospital, a GP and a Pharmacy. It has good travel links with a bus station and a train station close to the home. A supermarket, bank, cinema and pub can also be found in the area. Solihull town centre is in close proximity.
