Overview
We opened Kingfisher Court in January 2013 a purpose built building to accommodate up to 39 people between the ages of 18 and 65 years.
Kingfisher Court is based in a beautiful area just outside North Baddesley with good links to Romsey, Southampton and Salisbury. We provide 24hr on-site nursing support from our highly skilled team of nurses. Additional support comes from our highly trained and skilled Heath Care Assistants.
There are 39 single occupancy bedrooms with ensuite facilities, sensory and intelligent lighting and heating throughout, different communal living areas to enjoy association with others which include a sensory/quiet room, lounges, kitchenettes for people to participate in cooking meals, snacks, etc., garden area.
Each person is recognized as a unique individual with unique needs, therefore we provide both long term and short term packages for people. We are able to support with active rehabilitation, slow stream rehabilitation and long term packages depending on the needs of the individual.
We are proud to offer high quality nursing care to people with the most complex needs, while affording them the opportunity to live in a comfortable, homely environment.
We strongly believe in continuous staff development and provide specialist training and support to both our nursing staff and health care assistants to enable them to meet people’s needs no matter how complex.
