About Us
Tendring Care Home, has a 'Good' rating from the CQC. We are a small family run, independent home on the eastern edge of the New Forest. Close to GP surgeries, public transport, small town of Totton and Southampton and other beautiful locations in the New Forest. Providing person centred care by kind and compassionate staff with variable skill sets. We care for 21 residents with multitude needs and dementia.
Our delightful home offer rooms with private facilities and rooms with patio doors opening out into the pretty gardens, were our residents enjoy snacks, drinks and a chat. We have a very welcoming light and airy dining room with facilities to support independence. We offer daily, a variety of freshly prepared and home cooked food, three course meals, choice and dietary requirements and home prepared dessert options. Not forgetting our fabulous home made cakes, cookies and other home baking delights which residents can view and choose from our chill fridge. Our resident's are encouraged to participate in menu ideas. We are happy to offer room service if required.
Our activities are provided internally and externally and include trips out, boat trips and private outings. We encourage residents to participate in community services, libraries, lunch clubs, personal interest and hobbies clubs.
