About Us
Unique Senior Care is a family-owned, independent home care provider based in Stratford-upon-Avon, delivering high-quality care across South Warwickshire, and the surrounding areas, as well as Live-in Care nationwide. For over 15 years, the company has supported thousands of families to remain safe, independent and comfortable in their own homes, offering everything from a few hours of visiting care each week to full round-the-clock live-in support.
The service is rated Good overall by the Care Quality Commission, with 'Good' ratings across all five key areas - safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led. Inspectors found people using the service to be positive about their care and complimentary of staff, with robust processes in place to monitor quality and act on feedback.
Training and staff development sit at the heart of the organisation. Unique Senior Care has been honoured with the prestigious Princess Royal Training Award on multiple occasions (2021, 2024 and 2026), recognising its leadership development programme and its impact on staff retention, internal promotion and overall care quality. The company has also achieved 'Centre for Excellence' status with Skills for Care and holds a special commendation for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. A strong internal promotion culture means the majority of the organisation's operational leaders - many of whom began their careers as Caregivers - have progressed into senior roles from within.
Client trust is reflected in independent reviews too. Unique Senior Care has been named a homecare.co.uk Top 20 Small Home Care Group for six consecutive years, based entirely on feedback from clients and their families, and its Solihull branch (also home to the Live-in Care service) has separately been recognised as a Top 20 Home Care Provider for the West Midlands.
Whether supporting someone with a few hours of help a week or providing continuous Live-in Care, Unique Senior Care's approach is built around consistency, dignity and getting to know each client as an individual, an ethos borne out in consistently high review scores and repeated industry recognition year after year.
