Overview
Nazareth Lodge is a purpose-built Residential Care Home nestling in the delightful Dorset country town of Sturminster Newton. The location was carefully chosen - within a short walk of the town centre and shops – yet quietly situated in its own landscaped gardens next to St. Mary’s Church.
The home is arranged over two floors with a lift available for those who are unable or who prefer not to use the stairs. The communal areas consist of a large bright airy sitting room leading through to a superb conservatory with views of the garden and Church. The dining room has a cosy intimate feel, with a log fire in the winter and a view of glorious flowering borders in spring and summer.
We pride ourselves on our home-grown vegetables and homemade cakes and puddings - from a simple sponge to a beautiful birthday cake plus extensive and imaginative à la carte menus to include those on special diets.
All of our cooking is done on the premises by our own staff who are sympathetic to our residents’ dietary needs. We are very proud of the food we produce here. With our easy access green house, our residents are also able to bring on seedlings resulting in a wonderful variety of flowers and vegetables throughout the year.
