Located in Sutton Coldfield, Hafod Nursing Home is a warm and welcoming care home dedicated to providing high-quality, person-centred nursing care in a safe and supportive environment. We are proud to support up to 29 residents, offering a combination of single and shared ensuite rooms, alongside inviting communal spaces including a lounge, dining room, and activity areas. Each room can be personalised, helping residents maintain a sense of identity and familiarity.

Our Team
Hafod Nursing Home is owned and operated by Eleri and Tony Perry, with leadership provided by:
- Principal Manager: Mary Buckley
- Registered Manager: Rachel Wood

Our experienced and dedicated team includes registered nurses, care assistants, activities staff, housekeeping, kitchen, and maintenance teams. Together, we work collaboratively to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care.

Life at Hafod - is centred around each individual. We offer a structured yet flexible daily routine, allowing residents to live comfortably at their own pace.

Dining - All meals are freshly prepared on-site, with menus designed around residents’ preferences and dietary needs. Residents can choose where they dine and enjoy snacks and refreshments throughout the day.

Activities and Wellbeing - Our Activities Coordinator, Tammy Johnson, delivers a varied and engaging programme tailored to residents’ interests. Activities include:
- Gentle exercise and movement sessions
- Arts, crafts, and creative activities
- Music, reminiscence, and themed events
- Games, quizzes, and social gatherings
- Local outings and community engagement

Each resident benefits from a personalised activity plan to support wellbeing and enjoyment.

Community and Celebrations - We believe that meaningful moments matter. Birthdays, anniversaries, and seasonal events are celebrated with enthusiasm, creating opportunities for residents, families, and staff to come together and make lasting memories.

Faith and Cultural Support - We respect and support all faiths, cultures, and beliefs. Residents are encouraged to continue their spiritual practices, with access to religious services and personalised cultural care plans to ensure their needs are understood and honoured.
