About Us

Welcome to Hafod Residential Home, located in Sutton Coldfield, provides high-quality, person-centred residential care in a warm, safe, and supportive environment. The home accommodates up to 16 residents in a combination of single and shared ensuite rooms, alongside comfortable communal spaces. All rooms are fully furnished and can be personalised to help residents feel at home.

Our ethos is to deliver compassionate care that promotes dignity, independence, and individual choice. We pride ourselves on a positive, family-oriented culture where residents are respected, supported, and encouraged to live fulfilling lives.

Hafod is owned by Eleri and Tony Perry and led by Principal Manager Mary Buckley and Manager Verity Male. Our dedicated team of care assistants and support staff work collaboratively to provide safe, effective, and responsive care.

Daily life at Hafod is structured yet flexible, allowing residents to maintain their own routines. Fresh, home-cooked meals are prepared on-site, with menus tailored to individual preferences and dietary needs. A varied activities programme, led by our Activities Coordinator Tara, promotes physical, emotional, and social wellbeing through exercise, creative sessions, music, and community outings. Each resident benefits from a personalised activity plan.

We celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and cultural events, creating meaningful opportunities for residents and families to come together. Residents are also supported with their faith and cultural needs through personalised care planning and access to services where appropriate.

Families are encouraged to remain involved in care, with open communication and a welcoming visiting environment.

Additional services include hairdressing, chiropody, optical and dental care, as well as access to newspapers and magazines.

The safety and wellbeing of residents is our priority, supported by robust health and safety procedures, regular checks, and full support with healthcare appointments.
