About Us

Located in a rural location just to the west of Taunton, Frethey House provides residential, nursing and dementia care on a permanent and respite basis, as well as compassionate end of life care.

Set in a beautiful converted Victorian building on two acres of gardens and beautiful rolling countryside, residents can enjoy quality facilities including cosy lounges, an activity room and a hair salon. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated, some with en-suite facilities. Frethey House has retained several period features and is set within attractive and peaceful gardens.

The experienced and well-trained team make the most of the homes Somerset location, visiting local attractions, enjoying a pub lunch or having tea in one of the Taunton cafes.
