About Us
The Bungalow provides a welcoming and homely environment, offering high-quality care and support for seven individuals with profound learning disabilities, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and complex health needs. The focus is on creating fulfilling, enjoyable, and meaningful lives, with every achievement – no matter how small – celebrated.
Our detached bungalow features seven en-suite bedrooms and is fully adapted for those with physical disabilities, including spacious communal areas and hoisting facilities. The home also has a purpose-built sensory room, conservatory, and expansive gardens. The outdoor space includes a patio, water feature, sandpit, herb garden, and apple trees, with raised beds where the people we support actively participate in growing produce.
The team is dynamic and enthusiastic, offering person-centred support while sharing their passions, such as gardening, arts, crafts, and cooking, to enrich residents’ lives. Staff receive specialised training to ensure they can effectively support individuals with complex and life-limiting conditions, enabling them to remain in their own home.
