Welcome to Ashill Lodge Care Home, a privately owned residence offering exceptional care and comfort in the tranquil Ashill area of Thetford. Our dedicated team provides personalised support for a wide range of needs, including challenging behaviours, dementia care, Parkinsonism, frailty, heart disease, diabetes, stroke rehabilitation, and end of life care. We also specialise in the care of younger adults with young-onset dementia.

At Ashill Lodge, we understand that every individual is unique. Our spacious, well-appointed rooms—many with en suite facilities—allow residents to bring their own furniture and truly make themselves at home. Our modern facilities include a lift, wifi throughout, beautiful gardens, communal and quiet lounges, a family room, and activity areas for social events such as bingo and daily papers to keep everyone engaged. We offer delicious, resident-choice dining in our attractive dining rooms, with both protected mealtimes and in-room dining options for added comfort.

All essential care requirements are met with fully wheelchair accessible rooms, ground floor and hoisting options, wet rooms, call bells, and a choice of assisted or private bathrooms. Visiting friends and family benefit from on-site parking and a convenient bus station nearby.

We welcome people funding their own care, as well as those supported by the Local Authority (with or without top-up), and NHS Continuing Healthcare. Our flexible care options include long-term residential or dementia care, respite, and short-stay intermediate care, with weekly fees ranging from £955 to £1300.
