Barnes Lodge

Barnes Lodge is a purpose-built and modern care facility that offers full-time specialist residential, nursing and dementia care for 101 residents. At Barnes Lodge, the team of qualified and attentive staff work to create a welcoming atmosphere and put the health and well-being of the residents at the heart of everything they do.

The modern and stunning design provides well-equipped, bright lounges and en suite bedrooms to support person-centred care in which residents enjoy activities and socialise with other residents and staff.

At the heart of our care home is the Avante philosophy of care, the Eden Alternative. Staff encourage social interaction, connection and engagement, and work towards the eradication of loneliness, boredom and a feeling of helplessness which can present a challenge to those receiving care.

Barnes Lodge offers spacious and well-decorated en-suite bedrooms and comfortable communal rooms. Residents can visit the pretty gardens to while away a peaceful afternoon, or join in with the daily programme of activities throughout the home. Barnes Lodge also has a stylish hair and beauty salon for residents to treat themselves to a little pampering and relaxation.

All laundry is included and managed by the home domestic team but should residents wish to continue independently with daily tasks such as cleaning and laundry there’s always practical support available from staff.

All meals are nutritionally balanced, freshly prepared and cooked at the home and the catering team is always on hand to meet any dietary requirements or requests.

Barnes Lodge offers a respite care service that gives family carers or caregivers the chance to have a break from caring, go on holiday or simply have some well-earned time off.

We offer 24 Hour Residential Care including specialist Nursing Care, Dementia Care and also Respite Care for those who need it. Barnes Lodge in Tonbridge is a modern purpose-built luxury care home. We are focused on delivering exceptional person-centred care. We have a full and varied activities programme and encourage all residents to take part as well as being fully involved in the community.
