We support and encourage women to reintegrate back into the community
by promoting independence. We strive to follow a holistic person-centred model
in our approach. We are committed to working jointly with clinical teams and
offer transparency in our work both with the clients and professionals.
What we offer
The emphasis is to work with Forensic clients
who are being followed up by a forensic team.
Staff will work in conjunction with the community
teams and monitor and manage the conditions
of discharge. There are 2 major hospitals within
the vicinity of the House Ealing Hospital and
Hillingdon Hospital.
There is a GP surgery walking distance to the
house. Additionally there is Hillingdon women’s
centre within close proximity to the house.
In terms of recovery and rehabilitation there are
colleges and an adult education centre, as well
as gyms and other leisure activities available for
women to participate in.
There will be regular meeting in house to look
at what services and activities the women are
requesting to be bought into the house, verses
what can be facilitated in the community.
The women will be provided items for breakfast
and bulk items however with the support of the
staff they will be supported to make their own
meals in the house.

Our staff
Aram House employ experienced staff to
provide 24 hour care and support. Staff will
provide Support, give time to the service user,
and thus promote their Recovery.
Staff will provide 1:1 sessions with the residents
and they will also offer group support. Each
resident will be provided with a Key Worker.
Aram staff will assist the residents in accessing
the community resources and to support them
with any appointments that they may need to
attend. This support will be essential to enable a
smooth transition from Hospital to community.
There will be a care plan for each resident from
the point of assessment and moving in, this
care plan will be evolving as the needs change,
encompassing the CPA process with the
community teams.
Staff will be from a diverse background and
will be led by the manager who has a wealth of
experience in Forensic Mental Health Care. The
manager has worked in mental health in many
capacities for 20 years.
Aram house
Aram house is situated in Cowley, Uxbridge,
which is the London Borough of Hillingdon.
The house is in a residential setting close to
amenities and public transport links.
This house specialises in females only aged
between18-65 years old, we are open to
accepting women from all areas inside and
outside of the London boroughs.
Aram house provides 5 en suite single
occupancy rooms. Each room is fully furnished
and decorated with the opportunity for the
Women to personalise the rooms to their own
liking with personal items.
The house has a large open plan kitchen / living
space encouraging the staff and residents alike
to socialise and communicate with each other
at all opportunities. The house offers a separate
meeting room for the residents and their
allocated workers from the community in order
to provide privacy for sessions.
