About Us
Longbridge Deverill House and Nursing Home is a home in the Longbridge Deverill area of Warminster.
Our all-inclusive, luxury care home in Wiltshire has been built with an incredible array of amenities, services and facilities that are available to all Longbridge Deverill residents. We’ve gone above and beyond to guarantee our home has something for everyone, whether it’s afternoon tea on the rooftop terrace, a trip to the local garden centre or a visit to our recently refurbished Hair Salon.
We all need a life well lived, and life at Longbridge Deverill delivers this, adding new chapters, creating enjoyable moments and making memories for our residents, especially those living with dementia.
Our luxury en-suite rooms have been thoughtfully designed to provide a home-from-home environment. Bedroom furniture, a profiling bed, standing aids, a TV, a Nurse Call System, and an accessible wet room are included. Our charming en-suite bedrooms have been carefully designed to help our residents feel secure and comfortable. We feel it is important to provide a space where people can personalise their surroundings, welcome friends and family, and truly call home.
We believe mealtimes are an important part of residents’ daily lives. When residents dine with us, they will be treated to a beautiful ambience as well as superb cuisine prepared by our in-house chefs. Each of our communities has a beautiful dining room where they can enjoy their favourite meals with like-minded individuals. Our experienced culinary team is happy to serve a seasonal menu that features high-quality, locally sourced foods. We make every effort to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences so that residents can eat the way they choose.
We value residents’ ability to explore new things in a safe and supervised environment since it allows them to maintain an active and vibrant lifestyle. All of our arts and crafts programmes are tailored to our residents’ preferences, with the goal of inspiring and motivating everyone who participates. Residents are encouraged to attend as many sessions as possible in order to gain the many benefits this type of activity naturally offers.
Our Activities Coordinators are committed to providing our residents with exciting and engaging activities on a weekly basis. There’s always something fascinating going on at Longbridge Deverill Care Home in Warminster, from inviting performers such as the ‘Wiltshire Rural Music Company’ and therapy pets to participating in group baking and exercise sessions. We value residents’ activity suggestions and make every effort to provide enjoyable events for all.
Residents are invited to relax in our tranquil landscaped and rooftop garden. Our private and safe outdoor space provides a comfortable space for our residents to enjoy the outdoors; with furniture, a pond with a fountain and raised flower beds, residents can enjoy al fresco dining when the weather permits, as well as participate in any outside activities.
As well as our landscaped communal gardens, we have a top-floor balcony in the Wylie dementia community offers breathtaking views over the valley and is directly linked to a large open-plan lounge and dining room. Residents in the Deverill nursing community also have a purpose-built patio garden with comfortable and accessible amenities.
We encourage residents to regularly visit our Hair Salon, a place where they can look and feel their best selves after each appointment. Whether it’s to freshen up their hairstyle or get their hair washed, the salon team is on hand to ensure that each resident has a wonderful experience and that they look forward to their next visit.
