About Us

St Martins is a residential care home for the elderly and those living with dementia in the heart of Westcliff-on-Sea. It has rooms for 26 residents who are living with dementia or associated conditions. Many require assistance with daily living and we can accommodate those who have more complex needs. St Martins is owned and operated by The Southend on Sea Darby and Joan Organisation, a registered charity with a unique history of providing care for the local elderly community around Southend and the neighbouring areas. Our mission statement sets out the way in which our charity serves the people of Southend by committing to providing the best possible help and support for the local elderly community by providing a level of care and services that our residents and their families can depend upon and trust. We formally opened our award-winning, dementia-friendly garden in 2014 which is a haven of peace and tranquility for our residents.
