Welcome to Wain House Residential and Nursing Home

Located in the heart of the peaceful Linksfield Road area of Westgate-on-Sea, Wain House offers compassionate, high-quality care in a purpose-built environment. As a voluntary, not-for-profit home, our ethos centres around dignity, respect, and personalised attention for every resident. We welcome individuals and funding from all backgrounds, including self-funding residents, local authority placements (with or without top-up), and NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC).

Wain House provides a comprehensive range of care services tailored to support you or your loved one’s needs, including residential and nursing care, day care services, support for those with diabetes, frailty, heart disease, hearing or sight impairment, Parkinsonism, speech impairment, stroke recovery, as well as sensitive end-of-life care. We strive to ensure each resident feels safe, valued, and at home.

Our facilities are modern, comfortable, and fully equipped for accessibility with on-site free parking, wheelchair access, lifts, and wet rooms. Enjoy relaxing communal lounges, a tranquil garden, in-house cinema, quiet areas, and a family room. Residents are encouraged to maintain independence and personal preferences, with the option to bring their own furniture, enjoy room meal service, or select favourite activities from a varied social calendar including bingo, outings, and wellbeing sessions. Our resident-choice dining ensures meals are nutritious, appealing, and served in either the charming dining room or the comfort of your private room.

Additional amenities such as a hair salon, WiFi throughout, laundry service, and kitchenette facilities, combined with professional and friendly care, allow us to create a welcoming and supportive environment tailored to individual requirements.
