Our aims are to provide a person-centered domiciliary care service to everyone who uses our service, we will do this by involving the service user in their care planning and their family if they give us consent to do so. The service will be based upon best practice and provided by caring competent and compassionate staff to enable and support people who use our service to retain their independence and dignity.
Qualis Home Care and all our staff will recognise the service users’ diversity ensuring religious, cultural, racial and gender identities are respected any that their needs are met. In return we will request service users and their carers’ respect the rights of staff to the same non- discriminatory approach.
We will ensure that all information received in the course of carrying out our duties is treated with the utmost confidentiality and respect and is not passed to any unauthorised persons. The service user will be informed of any information concerning the services provided, and any changes to those services which may affect them. Qualis Home Care will always aim to ensure that the quality of the service provided is of the highest standards possible. The objectives of Qualis Home Care are that Service Users and their families will be actively involved in decisions effecting their care, treatment and support to make sure achieve a service that best meets their needs. We will provide a service where management and staff see safety and security of paramount importance to protect all our service users. All Service Users will be treated equally and be provided with equal opportunities where it is safe to do so.
Our staff will always show compassion to service users, their family and friends. Service users will always be treated with, dignity and respect. We will encourage Service Users to retain their independence to help promote dignity and quality of life. We will encourage Service Users to participate in decision making regarding their personal preferences. We will ensure that the forms of communication, language and address used are suitable for the needs of the person. We will ensure that every care plan accurately documents any additional support needed with accessing information.
